Football here is that sport where you kick a ball around. The real football, however, is the sport where you throw and kick the ball the around. And there’s nothing like a little Saturday college football. Unless, of course, its Sunday. I woke up at 5:30 this morning (Sunday) and a few friends came over to watch the OSU/USC game. The true freshman Barkley showed he was the real deal in the last minutes of the 4th quarter on his impressive drive for the game winning touchdown. Good for him, not so good for Bucks fans.
During such a game one normally eats chips and dip (preferably Skyline dip), sandwiches, cookies, any other food not healthy for you, and a good cold drink. Here however, its 5:30 in the morning and none of the above said food is readily available here. So we settled for cinnamon rolls (from the Secret Bakery) and tea. I’m not gonna complain, though. It was a great time with great friends watching a great football game. And hey, at least the Bearcats are now 2 and 0. So all in all it was a great weekend.

Paul, someone (presumably from the US) has hacked your blog and is making flamboyant posts!
Isn’t it interesting that Americans call the game “football” when you really only use your feet to move the ball a few times per game - unless you’re the Bengals and then you use it a little more often. If you want to call something the “real” football, how ’bout choosing a game where you actually do use your feet - and your brain!
go bucks!
i watched the game too… last year they played in LA and i watched it in ohio… this year they played in ohio and i watched in LA… bad timing.
AND bad luck for the bucks
oh well, at least there’s the rest of the season!
