So I’m not going to Sagarmatha. After nearly 24 hours waiting at the airport (spread over 4 days), getting up at 4:45 every morning to get to the airport by 5:45, and sitting there until 11:30 or so to hear that the flight has been canceled due to weather, our window of travel has officially closed. But its ok. I’ll head back in September, hopefully when the clouds clear.

We found out that today was the 12th day in a row that the flight has been canceled. I guess pilots don’t like to fly over the mountains in clouds for some reason. Wimps. I feel sorry for those waiting to get out of Lukla, though.
