Memorial Day in Nepal

Burgers, friends, and rain! What more can you want on a Memorial Day? I checked the weather, and it said it was supposed to rain in Cincy. Its been raining here pretty much all day, so its been nice and cool.
I went over to PJ and Lizzie’s this evening. We “grilled” burgers (but not beef of course, wink wink) and had potato salad. PJ and I even played Wii baseball in place of a backyard wiffleball game. Yesterday I got to see my family over Skype, minus my sister and brother-in-law who were at Busch Stadium seeing the Cardinals play, those losers (the Cardinals I mean). So all in all its been a good weekend. Interesting (see my previous post), but good.
But I must say holidays just aren’t the same when you’re away from family. Away from cookouts, playing outside with the nieces and nephews, and the Reds game. This makes me all the more thankful for the friends I have here who I can share this holiday with. We can create our own Memorial Day in Nepal and enjoy ourselves.
