Today I only get 8 hours of electricity. Four of those hours are from midnight to 4 am. They won’t do me much good. Sixteen hours of load-shedding are what the government has ordered, for now. I’m sure in a couple weeks (if that long) it will go up to 18 hours a day.
Its the talk of the town, as one would expect. Even in church today the worship leader used it as an illustration for the children’s portion of the service. For 16 hours we lose power, but God never loses power. God never has to take a break.
Thankfully, the candles here have super-powers. They are much brighter than any candle I’ve used in the States. Of course, in the States we normally don’t use candles to actually see. We just use them for smell and ambiance. I wish I could use my candles just for smell and ambiance.

Where I've Been

Interesting that the candles are brighter there. Is that an illusion or a grace?
I think its grace
