Thirteen thousand chickens were culled recently in the eastern part of Nepal. The Bird Flu is here. Chickens are illegally imported from India where the Bird Flu was already confirmed. It was only a matter of time until it made it to Nepal.
So now we are not eating chicken anymore. They have pork, but trust me, you don’t want to eat it. Its not really pork, per se, but more like pork fat. Not appetizing. That only leaves beef, which is illegal in Nepal. I can only say that I have never been a proponent of the Black Market, but I think I will make a few exceptions…
